Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern the licensing of software products published by SolTechnology Adrian Strugała, [Street, Postal code City], Poland, NIP [●] (“SolTechnology”, “we”). By purchasing or using our software you agree to these Terms.
1. Products and licences
Each product (for example AvroConvert) is distributed under a multi-licence model:
| Licence | Who may use it | Price |
|---|---|---|
| PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 | Any noncommercial use: personal, education, research, charities | Free |
| PolyForm Small Business 1.0.0 | Commercial use by organisations with fewer than 100 people and less than USD 1,000,000 in annual revenue (including affiliates) | Free |
| SolTechnology Commercial Licence | All other commercial use | Annual subscription per organisation |
The full text of each licence ships with the software and is available in the product repository. Evaluation, development and testing against the software are permitted under every licence tier.
2. Commercial Licence – scope
- The Commercial Licence is granted to the purchasing organisation (the “Licensee”) and covers all legal entities under its control, with no limit on the number of developers, applications or deployments.
- The Licensee may use, copy and deploy the software in any number of applications, servers, containers and environments, including redistribution as part of the Licensee’s own products, provided the software is not offered as a standalone library or competing product.
- The Licensee may not remove licence notices, sublicense the software on its own, or share licence keys outside the Licensee’s organisation.
3. Subscription term and perpetual fallback
- The Commercial Licence is an annual subscription that renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Perpetual fallback: every version of the software released while the subscription is active remains licensed to the Licensee indefinitely, even after the subscription ends. Versions released after expiry require an active subscription.
- Licence keys are delivered by e-mail after payment. The key identifies the Licensee and the subscription end date; the software never contacts our servers.
4. Ordering, payment and taxes
- Orders are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (and its affiliates), which acts as our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle issues the invoice, collects payment and handles applicable VAT, GST and sales tax. Paddle’s Buyer Terms apply to the transaction.
- Prices are shown in USD exclusive of tax; applicable tax is calculated at checkout based on your location and tax status.
- Purchase orders, bank transfers and multi-year quotes are available on request through contact@soltechnology.dev.
5. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
6. Support
Community support is provided through GitHub issues on a best-effort basis. Enterprise Licensees receive e-mail support with a two-business-day response target. Support does not include custom development or guaranteed fixes.
7. Warranty and liability
- The software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, SolTechnology’s total liability arising out of or related to the software or these Terms shall not exceed the licence fees paid by the Licensee in the twelve months preceding the claim. SolTechnology is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of data or profits.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for wilful misconduct.
8. Termination
We may terminate the Commercial Licence if the Licensee materially breaches these Terms and does not cure the breach within 30 days of notice. Sections 3.2 (perpetual fallback) survive termination for versions already paid for, unless termination results from the Licensee’s breach.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms for future purchases. The Terms in force at the time of purchase apply to that subscription period. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent court for the seat of SolTechnology, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in the buyer’s country of residence.
